Alerts let you know when there is a new message posted to you as either a reply in a messaged thread or as a private message. You can access the alerts in one of two ways.

1. The Alerts Menu
2. The User Control Panel

The Alerts Menu
The Alerts menu is found in the top left-hand corner of the home page.

When you click on the Alerts (#) hyperlink, a pop up window will open detailing the messages you have received.

1. Thread Replies Clicking on the hyperlink for a thread reply will take you directly to that message.
2. Private Messages Clicking on the hyperlink for a private message will take you directly to the new Private Message into your User Control Panel. Note that you can also access your private messages from the link to the right of the page, or from the user control panel. More Options
There are also two options at the bottom of the Alerts pop up:

1. View Alerts Allows you to view the Alerts in a full-screen view. This option takes you to the User Control Panel. You can read more about the Control Panel here: https://secure236.inmotionhosting.com/~tasqwe5/litwiki/doku.php?id=user_control_panel_cp
2. Delete All From the pop-up alerts options, you can also delete all alerts
