**__Your Profile__** allows you to control your personal information and profile settings for the forum.  You can access your profile settings from the User Control Panel.

Your profile contains two sections. 

    - __Visible Profile Information__\\  Your personal information available to other users of the forum (see below)
    - __Private Profile Information__\\  Your profile information settings, including your user name, password, e-mail, avatar, signature and other options, which you can see by following the links below.  

**__Visible Profile Information__**

How much you share on the internet and within our forum is entirely up to you.  The information you provide in this section will be visible to forum members who click on your name in threads to view your profile information.  Our forum allows you to provide information in the following categories:
    * Your birthdate
    * Your Website URL
    * Your geographic location
    * A brief bio
    * Your gender
    * Your User Title
    * Links to other internet profiles
    * And a notification when you are away.

To access and change these settings, click on "Edit Profile" in the User Control Panel.  Once you've made any desired changes, select Update Profile at the bottom of the screen.

**__Private Profile Information__**
There are also private profile settings that can be seen (and changed) only by you.  This includes your Username, Password, e-mail address, Avatar, signature and a plethora of control options for how you view the forum.
